Karen is CEO and Founder of Tangible Group, an executive coaching firm that helps people realize their full potential at work so they can achieve great things in their careers and in the world. Tangible Group does three things: one-on-one coaching at the C-Suite to pre-executive level; classroom leadership development; and team development. The firms best work happens when by accelerating results at the place where business, individuals, and leaders intersect.
We have gotten remarkable results by leveraging the research on resilience and active constructive responding as key ingredients in conflict resolution.
Before launching Tangible in 2002, Karen served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for a private equity firm, Atlas Venture.
During her 27-year corporate career, Karen has worked with some of the
finest marketing groups in the world, including Dun and Bradstreet, American Express and IBM.
For the past decade, Karen has provided coaching and consulting services to high-profile, top performers in education, entertainment, high tech, law, managed services, medicine, and pharmaceuticals. Her client list includes Microsoft, Nestle Health Science, Aramark, and Paramount.
Karen received her coaching certification from Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. She has an undergraduate degree in English from Rutgers University.
Karen’s area of focus during MAPP and beyond has involved scaling positive interventions to increase wellbeing at the collective level, in corporations, cities, and countries. Her publications on national and local Wellbeing Indexes as a means of accelerating positive public change have generated interest worldwide.
Karen is the author of The Sudden Caregiver, A Roadmap for Caregiver Resilience, which draws from the tenets of positive psychology and well-being to inform the caregiving journey.
She lives in Philadelphia, with her husband John and their dog Fenway.
