Bio
I received a Master's Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology - Los Angeles. My career as a licensed clinical psychologist began after completing a predoctoral internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, NY and a postdoctoral internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Medical College of Cornell University in White Plains, NY.
Shortly thereafter, I moved to Frankfurt, Germany and began working at the University of Frankfurt's Outpatient Behavioral Clinic. During this time, I also participated in several research projects at the University of Heidelberg's Center for Aging.
Upon returning to the United States, I started my clinical practice at what is now the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern Medicine and was put on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
After completing MAPP, I began conducting positive psychotherapy groups and integrating positive psychology principles into my individual work. In addition, I became an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Northwestern University and an assistant professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Most recently, I launched Northwestern's first positive psychology class in its clinical doctoral program.
