Resilience for busy professionals. The title is Resilience Secrets Every Busy Professional Must Know. Abstract: This capstone is a draft of a book proposal on resilience which will serve as a story-driven and comprehensive guide that will inspire busy professionals to thrive through challenge and change in work and in life. The working title is Resilience Secrets Every Busy Professional Must Know. More than ever, resilience is needed to help busy professionals recover from personal and professional adversities and setbacks, not IF they happen, but WHEN they happen. Disengagement from work and life, stress to the point of fatigue or illness, dissatisfaction with work, and disconnection are all very real obstacles busy professionals face. This book links the science of positive psychology to the field of resilience in an effort to offer busy professionals multiple pathways for building resilience reserves.
