Bio
An Iowa native, Kerry played college basketball at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and internationally in 11 different countries. He spent 8 seasons as Character Coach/Chaplain to the NBA Houston Rockets, including their ’94 and ’95 back-to-back World Championships. He was honored as a 2015 John C. Maxwell Leadership Award Top 10 Finalist.
After a long career as an FCA Director, Kerry launched KO Coaching Agency, a coaching, consulting, and speaking business. He and his wife Barbara have 2 children – Spencer, who is a graduate of Yale University and lives in Tokyo and Abby, a graduate of Columbia University of New York and lives in Richmond, Virginia.
Kerry is a proud MAPP graduate and incorporates positive psychology into his keynote speaking, coaching, and consulting.
