Jon is a strategy, operations, transformation, and organizational turnaround executive. He is the Founder & CEO of the Strongpoint Group, an independent global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations create their long-term business strategy and optimize their operations through a sustainability lens.
Jon is also the co-founder with Lara Merriken of Anther, a company created to help individuals, teams, and organizations navigate change, embrace possibility, and step into their next chapter with clarity and confidence. Using science-backed tools and timeless wisdom, we guide our clients to build the mindset, skills, and courage to thrive in uncertain times.
Before his current role, Jon was the Chief Operating Officer at GoBolt Logistics and Senior Vice-President of Operations at Indigo, a prominent Canadian retailer.
Jon has over 20 years of experience working in retail, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management with global organizations like Walmart and Procter & Gamble.
Jon has an MBA from Cornell University, a Master in Applied Positive Psychology from the Unversity of Pennsylvania, a BA from McGill University, and an advanced degree in Manufacturing Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. He also has extensive experience in highly complex negotiations and has completed advanced training in many institutions, including the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Jon is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and lives in Toronto, Canada, with his lifelong partner Adriana and his two children.
