Dana Seale is a trainer for motivational interviewing and also for positive psychology.
Dana founded Global Resilience Oral Workshops (GROW). GROW is a culturally adaptable resilience training curriculum for adolescent oral learners that incorporates Bible stories, personal narratives, drama, dance, exercise, music, gratitude, forgiveness, goal setting, problem solving, brainstorming, meditation and prayer to provide a holistic approach to well-being.
The current version of GROW is designed for 11-12 year olds and includes evidence based practices such as problem solving, brainstorming, and goal setting to train children in resilience.
Dana has been a consultant and trainer for GROW Zambia, a two year research project that was being funded by the John Templeton Foundation. Through GROW Zambia she trained 30 GROW leaders and 600 children ages 10-13 in the GROW curriculum.
Dana enjoys zumba, travel, evening gratitude walks with her husband and the over all joy of loving her friends and family.
